WHERETrue Colors #1 (witness to creation) exemplifies my philosophy on showing art work: Art has a life of its own beyond the artist. Each viewer comes to it from their own experiences
Before my recent move to Tucson, I lived and worked in Greensboro, NC, showing my work at Artmongerz and Uptown Artworks. Additionally I have shown my fiber work in the homes of my family, friends, and supporters, universities and cultural centers, museums and the US Embassy. My drawings and paintings hang out or have hung out in my closets, on my walls, on friends’ and supporters’ walls, and the walls of outdoor art shows, coffee shops, hair salons, corporations, and co-operative and private galleries. . I enjoy watching people interact with the work and continue the questions of “what for?” and “what if?” COPYRIGHT AND REPRODUCTION RIGHTS RESERVED BY THE ARTIST. |
